Jacquelyn Bickle grew up dancing in Michigan at Joannes Dance Extension. Her favorite accomplishment during her competition years was being awarded Great Lakes Regional Miss Dance 2007 where she went on to compete for Miss Dance of America. After graduating high school Jacquelyn was awarded a competitive dance scholarship to the prestigous Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. While at Marymount Jacquelyn was trained by some of the most highly sought after faculty in the world, in all areas of dance, as well as voice and acting. After graduating Jacquelyn was fortunate enough to work with some of the top choreographers on Broadway including Baayork Lee and Rachelle Rak. Jacquelyn can also be seen in the Warner Brothers film 'The Dark Knight Rises' as the Mayors Assistant.
Following her performance career Jacquelyn worked at the world reknowned Joyce Theater in New York City, where she was lucky enough to evaluate and select dance companies from all over the world to perform on their stage. Jacquelyn's eye for exceptional choreography is what allowed her the ability to make these decisions for one of the most respected dance theaters in the country. Some of the many companies she worked with and presented while at The Joyce Theater are; The Royal Ballet, Twyla Tharp, Martha Graham Dance Company, Miami City Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Batsheva Dance Company, Savion Glover, Misty Copeland, and many others. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and passion with the next generation of dance artists.
