Kaylee Bays, a dedicated performer, educator, and choreographer, began her training and career in the Bay Area. From a very young age, she developed a foundation in technique at Infinity Dance Studio with styles including jazz, tap, hip hop, contemporary and ballet. At the age of 11, she went on to further her dance studies as a company dancer of The South Bay Ballet Arts for two years. Although she loved dance, her passion fell with musical theatre just after performing in a few small shows. With The Children’s Musical Theater of San Jose, she performed in over 13 shows with featured roles in The Secret Garden, Aida, and The Drowsy Chaperone. While a sophomore at Abraham Lincoln High School, she began experimenting with choreography, assistant teaching, and directing. This was thanks to a student-teacher program in the dance department of her performing-arts magnet high school. Her choreography at Lincoln High School went on to receive numerous awards in all categories entered including “Best Choreography” for her solos and open large groups. Throughout high school, she taught private lessons in her apartment’s yoga studio and worked as an assistant teacher at her home studio, Infinity Dance Studio.
Kaylee attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood where she majored in Musical Theatre. She studied under broadway and film legends such as Brooks Almy (Beauty and the Beast, Dexter), Tom o’ Leary (Phantom of the Opera), Craig Anton (Phil of the Future), and Cassie Levy (Frozen, Ghost, Wicked, Les Miserables).
Her professional credits have consisted of numerous films, television shows, and entertainment contracts. Kaylee’s first step into the entertainment industry began as an entertainer for The Walt Disney Company. It was here that she performed in numerous roles in shows including The Pixar Play Parade, Paint the Night, and Mickey’s Soundsaitonal Parade. Through Kaylee’s time at Disney, her performances have been featured on Good Morning America, Nightline, People Magazine, and so much more. Kaylee’s film, television, commercial credits include Steve Jobs, Pitch, and The Voice. Kaylee’s most beloved memories of her professional career are those she’s shared at Disney with her pals Pluto and Mrs Incredible.

She now teaches multiple styles consisting of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, swing, and acro. Kaylee is very dedicated to the idea that what she teaches is so much more than dance.
