Chelsea is a Lafayette, Louisiana native and has been dancing since the age of two. She has had years of training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical/Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. In her younger years, she was featured as a Polichinelle and Candy Cane in the Nutcracker, performed by the Lafayette Ballet Theatre and guest artists from the Pacific Northwest Ballet.
In 2006, she attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she joined the Ragin’ Jazz Dance Team. The team competed at the UDA College Nationals in Disney World and placed third in the nation. After graduating college in 2010, Chelsea became a dancer for Louisiana’s professional hockey team, the Louisiana Ice Gators. While she was performing, she was also teaching at her local dance school, River Dance Centre.
She has a lot of experience with competitions and choreography and has competed since the age of 12. After moving to Sacramento, CA, she taught and choreographed multiple competition classes and both received the Judge’s Choice awards.
Chelsea has been choreographing and teaching dance since 2006 and truly enjoys being able to share her passion and art with her students.
